With heart and colour
How art becomes a social service
"And I think that's the wonderful thing, that you can try to make a difference in the world in the most creative ways."
Felix Martin in his interview with "Roter Keil" on World Childrens´s Day

Since 2022, Felix has been using his art to advocate for people, with a particular focus on children. In August of that same year, the young painter presented his first live performance at the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund. The artwork created during the event sent a strong message against the sexual and violent abuse of children and was later auctioned online to raise donations for the social organization Roter Keil. This project marked the beginning of his long-term commitment to social causes through art. Since then, Felix has been working regularly with Roter Keil, contributing additional paintings and continuously developing new projects together with the organization to offer support to affected children through personal engagement.

"That Live-Painting back then changed my view on art and the process of creating completely ... Art can just simply help, can change mindsets and perhaps even the way to see the world"
In 2025, Felix’s commitment expanded significantly once again. For World Children’s Day, representatives of Roter Keil and Felix visited an elementary school to talk with the students about children’s rights. The children were given the task of expressing which rights they wish for children all around the world, while Felix transformed their thoughtful answers into a live artwork on canvas. The completed piece was later donated to the school so that the children would be reminded of their rights every day. From this collaborative project, conversations about further cooperation developed with organizations from Schwerte, Dortmund, and the Czech Republic, which will turn into concrete partnerships in 2026. In addition, the painter had the opportunity to support homeless people in Hamburg together with the Habibi Atelier, to present a live painting performance at the opening of the Climate Garden in Schwerte, to paint with children at “Leuchtturm Schwerte,” and to create a charity artwork in Hannover to raise funds for dogs in need. Felix is grateful for all of these engagements, as well as for every future project that allows him to use his art to bring as much support and positive impact into the world as possible.

"To change the world for the better with courage and heart, thats the goal Felix has set for himself"
